March Favorites // 2019
Spring, is that you? March has come and gone and another month and season are here! This last month was a fun one. Lots of adventures, goodies, and sports (BASEBALL SEASON IS BACK!). I thoroughly enjoy all that March had to offer and of course I had to write all about it!
Discovery Park
Last weekend, Andrew and I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and go to Discovery Park. Neither one of us had been before, so this was a new adventure for both of us. While I was not fully prepared for the 2+ mile walk we endured (skinny jeans and Converse were not my best idea), we were treated to beautiful views and overall, a wonderful day.
Lemon Bars
If you haven’t seen it yet, I recently posted a blog post about lemon bars! I was not expecting to enjoy this spring treat as much as I did, but now I can’t wait to make some more! They were fairly easy to make and had a wonderful tartness that wasn’t too overpowering. If you’re looking for a spring treat to work into your baking repertoire, I highly recommend checking out this recipe!
Dressing up Tanner
My poor dog, he has to suffer through me dressing him up and constantly putting headbands on him for the sake of Instagram. But c’mon, this is too cute! If you want to keep up with Tanner and his adorable-ness, follow his Instagram page, @tannerstales.
March Madness
Nobody is more surprised than me that this is on my Favorites list. I’ll admit, college basketball is not my jam so I never really participated in the whole March Madness hype. But, I am dating somebody who loves all sports, especially college basketball, so I found myself this year with a small interest in it. I decided to fill out a bracket and am pleased with how my picks did overall in the first few rounds. Maybe it’s the competitiveness in me, but seeing my picks continue to advance to the next rounds, feels pretty good. Maybe this is what all the hype is about. Unfortunately, my Final Four is no more, but you can’t win ‘em all I suppose!
What were you loving in March?
