Tourist for the Day: Amazon Spheres

Most Seattleites have seen the gigantic glass ball structure in Seattle’s South Lake Union community. The area is bustling with Google and Amazon workers and this structure sticks out in a sea of vertical, average-looking buildings. The Spheres, nestled on Amazon’s HQ campus, is a conservatory that houses 40,000 plants from 50 countries. Visitors are welcome during the first and third Saturday of the month and admission is free. All you have to do is reserve your time slot in advance. Last weekend, my parents and I ventured down to the tech hub of the city on a rainy Seattle day to explore the Spheres and see what all they had to offer!
