March Favorites // 2018
It's finally April - my favorite month - but before I can go celebrating, I have to talk about what I was loving in March! I know this post is a bit belated, but my bad. Here we go!
Baseball season
The end of March brought one of my favorite times: baseball season! I grew up a Mariners fan and spent countless afternoons and evenings at Safeco Field cheering on the home team. There really is nothing better than being in a baseball stadium, the sun setting while you're digging into a bag of kettle corn cheering as a player smacks a home run out of the park. During college, I started following the San Francisco Giants and became a big fan of them. So I have two teams to follow, which means more games to watch! Recently the Mariners and Giants had a two game series in SF and thankfully for me, they split the series so I could celebrate a win for both of them!
P.S. The photo that is the thumbnail for this blog post was from my first time at AT&T Park, home of the Giants. I will admit, a few happy tears were shed that day.
James Bay
I've been a fan of James Bay for years now. A couple years back I actually ran into him in Seattle and had a nice little conversation with him. He was very friendly and after we talked, I immediately called my parents and gushed about him. I've listened to songs from his first album a lot and recently he released songs that will be on his second album (coming out in May). I've had some of those songs on repeat lately, especially "Wild Love". His voice is so smooth and his melodies are so catchy. If you haven't listened to James Bay, you are truly missing out.
What were you loving in March?
